COVID19 – update November 2020
The safety and well being of clients is our absolute priority. We are open and able to provide a full range of surveys, adhering to government guidelines and undertaking suitable social distancing where necessary.
We will be happy to address any concerns that you may have about surveys at this time.
The RICS Homebuyer Report includes a Valuation and is the most popular survey type. Designed for conventionally built homes, it provides details of defects that may affect the property with advice on repairs and ongoing maintenance advice.
The RICS Homebuyer Report uses a traffic light system to help easily identify the main issues affecting the home you wish to buy.
A Building Survey is the most detailed inspection available and is particularly suitable for individual properties, including older properties, listed buildings and properties altered or extended.
The report provides detail not only on the condition of the property but also advice on how to address any defects.
Specific Defect Surveys
Specific Defect Reports can be helpful following a lender’s valuation where a defect is identified requiring further investigation or when an issue arises in the home you live, which you would like advice on.
Issues such as damp or timber decay which do not require a full survey can be examined and suitable advice provided.
